We are looking to hire a local Malaysian for a contract-based role as a Senior Mobile App Developer in Section 13, Petaling Jaya. This opportunity is with our client, a leading technology service provider specializing in the healthcare industry. They excel in strategic technology implementation and innovation, helping businesses achieve their goals through the effective use of technology.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the team to analyse, receive, and respond to project requests and user feedback.
• Research potential programming needs and recommend optimal programming languages and frameworks for efficient development.
• Contribute programming expertise to design and develop high-quality, user-friendly, and performant mobile applications for various client needs.
• Utilise industry-accepted testing methodologies to identify and troubleshoot flaws in applications.
• Work cross-functionally with different teams and departments to ensure code quality and seamless integration.
• Prepare concise reports and effectively present development updates to teams and stakeholders.
• Refactor and optimize existing code bases to maintain efficiency and functionality.
• Document code changes and development processes for future reference and maintenance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field with a focus on mobile development.
• 3-5 years of experience as a mobile app developer with a proven track record of successfully delivering high-quality apps.
• Strong proficiency in developing native mobile applications for both Android and iOS platforms.
• Up-to-date knowledge of programming languages like Java/Kotlin (Android), Swift/Objective-C (iOS), and cross-platform frameworks like Flutter or React Native.
• Experience working with Agile software development methodologies and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working with Hospital Management Systems (HIS) is a plus.
